That&#8217;s not the case, experts say.<\/p>\n<p>For many of us, our dreams transport us to a surreal world where logic and reason have no reign. Some of us may even look forward to sleep \u2014 and the adventures we&#8217;ll go on in our dreams.<\/p>\n<p>But does everyone take a nightly trip to dreamland? Similarly, sleep apnea can also minimize the time you spend dreaming.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4\u3001Differences in Gender And Personality<\/strong> \u2014 a survey shows that adolescent girls were more likely than their male counterparts to remember their dreams. This study also finds a link between creativity and dream recall: Participants with stronger dream recall were more likely to identify themselves as creative compared with those less likely to recall their dreams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5\u3001Vitamin B6<\/strong> \u2014 individuals who took a vitamin B6 supplement before bed are more likely to remember their dreams compared with individuals who do not take the supplement.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Why do We Forget Our Dreams?-Mintal\" title=\"Why do We Forget Our Dreams?-Mintal\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-568\" src=\"https:\/\/mintal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/22222.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1146\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_avoid_forgetting_dreams\"><\/span><strong>How to avoid forgetting dreams?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Develop a <a href=\"https:\/\/mintal.com\/blog\/how-to-fix-your-sleep-schedule\/\">regular schedule<\/a> and ensure a good night&#8217;s sleep. Dreams only occur during what is biologically known as REM sleep, when our bodies are completely at rest, our eyes are rapidly rolling, and our brains are active.<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t get enough sleep, or are frequently disturbed to sleep, the shorter the duration of this state, the fewer dreams. Therefore, you should work and rest on time every day to ensure the time and quality of sleep.<\/p>\n<p>Most people need 7 to 9 hours of sleep each day, and those who sleep less than 6 hours often have difficulty recalling their dreams.
